At first glance, this particular winter recreation may seem a bit impenetrable, but ice fishing in temperatures below -30 degrees is definitely a rare experience.

Yukon is the best place in Canada to catch lake trout, white-spotted dogfish, Arctic fennel, rainbow trout, and Arctic sockeye salmon. Our guides will select the ideal lakes for you to experience the pleasure of ice fishing. With the help of an ice auger, we drill a hole in the ice, which can be up to 1 meter thick! While waiting for the fish to be hooked we can walk on the ice in our big shoes and enjoy the beauty of the winter snow and ice.

If we are lucky, we will prepare the fish and cook it on the fire.

A little reminder.

Remember to keep warm in the extreme cold of winter! If you need it, you can reserve a winter clothing set from us!
